Jason is a lifelong California Republican, and has been volunteering for
Republican causes for over a dozen years.

Since mid-2022, Jason has served as the Bay Area Regional Vice Chair, representing the Bay Area's Republicans on the Board of the California Republican Party. Joining in the middle of a crucial election season, Jason worked with candidates, volunteers, and county party leaders to connect them to resources and training to get out the vote.
Prior to 2022, Jason served in a variety of roles.
In 2019, Jason was first elected as Bay Area Regional Vice Chair. Six months later, Jason left this role when he was appointed to serve in the Trump Administration in Washington, D.C. During Jason's time in D.C., he worked as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, returning home to the Bay Area in 2021.
Jason was the first Millennial Chairman of the San Francisco Republican Party (SFGOP), a role he held from 2016-2019, and was one of the youngest GOP county chairs in California at the time of his election. As SFGOP Chairman, Jason successfully raised over $150,000 for the local party, recruited over a dozen candidates to run for office, and spent over 1,000 volunteer hours working for local candidates. In addition, Jason has made more than 100 media appearances, including Mornings with Maria Bartiromo, on Fox News with Lou Dobbs, and on Fox Business Network's Varney & Co.
In 2012, Jason ran for State Assembly in San Francisco's 17th Assembly District against Tom Ammiano, garnering 105% above Republican registration in the November election.
Jason has served on the Board of the San Francisco Young Republicans, and is the immediate past chairman of the Log Cabin Republicans of California. He is currently President of the Log Cabin Republicans of San Francisco. Jason holds a law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a degree in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley.
