What is a Regional Vice Chair?
The California Republican Party Board has 8 regional vice chairs, elected from throughout the state. The Bay Area Regional Vice Chair represents more than 512,000 registered Republicans in six Bay Area counties.
Every two years, delegates from each of the six counties elect the Bay Area Regional Vice Chair at the CAGOP Convention. The next convention will be held in March 10-12, 2023 in Sacramento. |
What is the Vice Chair's Job?
The Regional Vice Chair's job is to empower, inspire, and lead our volunteers, candidates and delegates as they seek to get out the vote and elect Republicans to office here in the Bay Area. The Regional Vice Chair works directly with county parties, connecting them to information and vital resources during the election season.
Regional Vice Chairs are volunteers. They do not get paid, they do not get a budget, and they do not have staff. Regional Vice Chairs volunteer to ensure that their region's Republicans have a voice and get the resources they need to win.
